Rapid Rail has been established in the height safety industry for over twenty years. installing robust safety line systems and products. The founding partners, Paul Howard and Tony Sysum, are experienced in all aspects of site engineering, including installation, specialist welding, safety system design and supply management.

Rapid Rail’s industrial range of heavy duty horizontal lifelines, roof safety systems and fall arrest systems fulfil the stringent requirements of safety critical industry applications. Recently, Rapid Rail engineers have developed the new Passenger Safety System. This Horizontal Height Safety System is designed to provide safe working at heights for installations, routine maintenance and inspections in hazardous environments.

In the last two decades Rapid Rail have emerged as industry leaders in safety line systems, industrial horizontal lifelines, heavy duty horizontal lifelines, fall protection and roof safety systems.

Rapid Rail insist on the highest Health & Safety Standards to cover staff and their working environment. Administrative and engineering staff work to maintain a safe working directive at all times and in all places. We provide good training, and initiate high standards of communication and compliance in all areas of Health & Safety, continually exercising improvements so that our certification remains current.

Rapid Rail is a member of WAHSA (Work at Height Safety Association) which is the UK lead body representing the interests of manufacturers, assemblers, installers, distributors and end users of personal protection equipment used for working at height and rescue.

Our Health & Safety Management System, is registered as OHAS18001, across all company activities and we are working towards our Safe Contractor Accreditation for a further Health & Safety Award. All Passenger Lifelines – heavy duty horizontal lifelines, are designed using the latest computer prediction simulations and structurally verified suitable, by our own qualified Structural Engineers in accordance with the current BS standard for BS5950 and Eurocode 3.
